Valerie Boissou

Valerie is an Audit Partner in the Department of Professional Practice at KPMG US, with over 25 years of experience. In this role, Valerie provides professional guidance to clients and engagement teams on technical and practical matters related to the application of US GAAP and IFRS, especially on complex accounting matters related to presentation of financial statements, transactions and revenue recognition.
Valerie has authored multiple publications on financial reporting relating to statement of cash flows, discontinued operations, going concern, accounting changes, segment reporting, contingencies. She issues IFRS Perspectives a quarterly Newsletter dedicated to IFRS preparers in the United States. Valerie is also a recognized speaker at conferences, trainings, webcasts and podcasts.
Drawing on her cross-national experience and French heritage, Valerie leads the France-US Corridor for KPMG US, coordinating audit, tax and advisory services for French companies operating in the United States.
Passionate about sustainability, Valerie serves as Chair of KPMG Living Green, a network of 4,000 environmentally conscious employees, dedicated to fostering a green culture within the firm.
Valerie is a former Advisory Partner of KPMG France and a licensed CPA in New York.
