Claudius is currently seconded from KPMG Germany and is working as a Director within our Accounting Advisory team as part of Deal Advisory Services. He is specialized in Sustainability reporting, focusing on EU regulation such as CSRD and EU Taxonomy.
Before joining KPMG US, Claudius was in an 18-month secondment in Brussels at EFRAG, the standard setting body that has developed the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) on behalf of the European Commission (EU). Based on his extensive experience in both advisory as well as assurance engagements for international clients from various sectors, Claudius is now supporting US-based cooperations to prepare for Sustainability reporting compliance.
