Sougata is a distinguished leader in procurement and back-office operations transformation with over 20 years of extensive experience in both industry and advisory roles. He has a proven track record of helping organizations achieve sustainable enhancements in performance. His expertise encompasses procurement transformation, business process and organizational design, strategic sourcing, category and vendor management, business process improvement, program management, and the design and implementation of various procurement technologies, including AI and data analytics.

Sougata collaborates closely with clients to elevate their procurement functions across various stages of transformation, with a comprehensive focus on people, processes, and technology. Currently, Sougata serves as the Procurement Advisory Leader for the KPMG US State, Local, and Education (SLED) sector and is the KPMG Ivalua Alliance Leader for the US.
