Tim Andreasen
Sustainable Tax Leader
Tim Andreasen is a Sustainable Tax Leader in the KPMG National Power and Utilities practice and a part of the firm's Renewable Energy leadership team. He has helped build and serves as a leader of the KPMG National Renewable Energy Group. In this role, Tim spends a significant amount of his time consulting with companies investing in renewable energy assets.
Tim has nearly 30 years of experience in tax planning and structuring of transactions for public and privately held clients. This experience includes assisting assisting clients with structuring for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures as well as corporate and partnership tax planning and compliance. He has advised on many transactions and provided both tax due diligence and tax structuring advice to clients in several industries. In addition, he is responsible for the review of quarterly tax provisions and income tax footnotes.
Active in his community, Tim is a member of the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement of Lincoln, a volunteer teacher for Junior Achievement of Lincoln, and a member of the Board of the Catholic Foundation of the Lincoln Dioceses.
Tim is a certified public accountant in Nebraska and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Nebraska Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has a BBA degree from Hastings College.
