Principal, Tax – Transfer Pricing Services
Tara is a Principal in KPMG’s Economic and Valuation Services (EVS) practice. She has over 20 years of transfer pricing experience including transfer pricing controversy, transfers pricing documentation studies, transfers pricing planning, and Advance Pricing Agreements. She also leads several national initiatives that marry deep technical expertise with innovation. She is currently is KPMG’s global leader of transfer pricing technology and oversees several of KPMG’s largest TP managed services’ projects.
Tara has been responsible for managing transfer pricing projects including transfer pricing planning documentation, audit defense, and Advance Pricing Agreements. She has designed and performed numerous transfer pricing studies for contemporaneous documentation purposes in accordance with §482 of the Internal Revenue Code and the OECD Guidelines. In addition, she has provided planning advice to several clients regarding appropriate transfer pricing policies for future intercompany transactions, including royalty rates for licensing marketing and manufacturing intangible property, payments for transferred/migrated intangible property, fees for intercompany services, and prices/markups for tangible goods transactions. She has previously been a part of KPMG’s Washington National Tax Practice, where she spent significant time on the OECD’s Base Erosion and Profit Split initiative.
