Consultation on GloBE information return filing standard

The Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) released a draft user guide for the global anti-base erosion (GloBE) information return filing standard for consultation.

According to the OECD release, a standardized GloBE information return template, as well as an approach for disseminating return information among implementing jurisdictions, was agreed in July 2023. Read TaxNewsFlash

With a view to ensuring a consistent, standardized approach to capturing the GloBE return information, the OECD is developing a schema in extensible mark-up language (XML) and a corresponding user guide.

The consultation on the draft user guide closes on August 19, 2024.
