Draft law amending Pillar Two law introduced to Parliament

Bill 8396 amending the Pillar Two law enacted in December 2023 (read TaxNewsFlash) was introduced to Parliament on June 12, 2024.

The draft law would:

  • Incorporate technical aspects from the OECD Commentary, the OECD administrative guidance issued in February 2023, the OECD administrative guidance issued in July 2023, and the OECD administrative guidance issued in December 2023
  • Introduce certain other amendments to existing provisions of the Pillar Two law and clarify certain aspects of the law
