Cyprus: Applications for reduced VAT rate on supply or construction of private dwelling must be submitted online

Beginning 27 May 2024, applications for the reduced value added tax (VAT) rate of 5% on the supply or construction of a private dwelling will need to be submitted online through the Tax For All (TFA) Portal.

Hard copy applications were only accepted at local VAT district offices until 17 May 2024 to allow time for the relevant data to be transferred to the TFA platform by 27 May 2024.
