Final guide on transitional rules for service tax rate change on foreign digital services

The Royal Malaysian Customs Department (RMCD) on 14 February 2024 issued the final guide on transitional rules for the change in service tax rate to 8% (from 6%) on digital services provided by foreign registered persons.

The relevant legislation has yet to be gazetted, so the information in the guide may be subject to change.
