Burak is an executive in the financial services industry with a unique combination of technology, finance, and accounting backgrounds. With over 15 years of experience leading cross-functional audit and consulting projects at global and US-based banking and fintech enterprises, Burak has extensive experience in delivering a wide range of services, including attestation reports, technology SOX audits, SOX readiness assessments, compliance transformations, and risk and control assessments. In addition to serving as the technology leader for several banking and digital assets clients, Burak is the banking and capital markets industry leader for technology assurance at KPMG and leads the digital asset attestation solution. Burak holds a bachelor's degree in computer science and a master's degree in accounting and finance. Additionally, he is a CFA charterholder and holds a CPA license in the state of New York as well as being a member of the AICPA stable-coin attestation working group.
