Emily Courter

Emily is a senior manager in our Department of Professional Practice (DPP). She has over 11 years of experience providing integrated audit services to her clients in financial services and technology industries. Since joining DPP in July 2020, her responsibilities have included monitoring and reporting on several FASB technical agenda projects, developing new guidance on accounting topics and assisting engagement teams with complex accounting and financial reporting matters. Her experience includes performing technical analysis and review of accounting positions. Prior to Emily’s rotation with DPP, she most recently worked in our Kansas City office where she served both SEC and private clients. Emily is a licensed CPA in Maryland, Missouri and Hawaii and is a member of the AICPA.
