Amy Congalton

Amy Congalton is a Director and founding member of KPMG Ventures. She leads the team’s Platform efforts, bringing together a powerful network of internal and external stakeholders to drive growth for both KPMG and portfolio companies. She plays an important role in the end-to-end investment process, from sourcing startups to guiding them through the process and creating new commercial opportunities.
She brings 14+ years of experience across corporate innovation, research and navigating the startup ecosystem – largely focused on professional services. Before KPMG Ventures, Amy held various innovation-related roles at KPMG, including helping stand up the firm’s tech and startup scouting function. Previously, she launched a successful M&A news and data product at the Financial Times Group, and joined a martech startup that was later acquired by Optimizely. She started her career in management consulting at KPMG. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science from the University of Michigan.
