Danielle is a Senior Associate in KPMG’s Advisory practice. Her academic background was focused on Information Systems. She was previously an Intern for KPMG in IT Advisory practice before she started full-time. She has experience in Internal Audit, External Audit, and Compliance. Danielle has over 4 years of internal IT audit experience with KPMG, and she was a lead staff for her 2020 IT Audit engagements. Her experience includes clients in technology, medical services, manufacturing, automobile, and retail.

Professional and Industry Experience

Danielle has provided professional IT Audit and Assurance services to clients in varying industries where she tests IT controls, processes, and security.

• Conducted internal audit and external audit engagements which included planning, conducting client interviews, testing, and documentation for the Test of Design and Test of Operating Effectiveness of IT General Controls and Application Controls. Communicated deficiencies to clients and tested remediation procedures.
• Developed risk based approach on engagements to review deficiencies and compensating controls to determine the aggregate impact of control deficiencies.
• Worked on IT Compliance engagements for performing detailed access reviews, and helped develop automated approaches to facilitate the review process.
• Analyzed information and conducted in-depth analysis of control gaps for a various entities, focusing on tests of design and effectiveness and providing recommendations to improve controls.
