All entities will be required to re-register for CRS reporting.

The Oman tax authority in April 2024 issued a notice regarding the availability of its automatic exchange of information (AEOI) system for the submission of common reporting standards (CRS) reports.

Financial institutions must submit CRS reports for the 2023 reporting period by 31 May 2024 to avoid penalties or disruptions. In addition, the notice states that all entities will be required to re-register for CRS reporting.
