National Assembly on 18 January 2024 passed the new land law

The National Assembly on 18 January 2024 passed the new land law, which will become effective 1 January 2025.

The new law includes changes regarding:

  • Land valuation methodology
  • Combined land classifications and usage
  • Conversion of land rental payment terms from lump-sum to annual payment
  • Bidding structure
  • Definition of “economic organizations with foreign capital”
  • Site clearance
  • Social housing
