Benjamin is a Director in the Corporate Tax department and has been a tax advisor at KPMG Switzerland since 2012.
As a seasoned tax expert, he advises national and international companies of all sectors, putting a special focus on aspects related to restructuring, tax planning and administration, transactions and multidisciplinary project management. He also assists companies on matters related to tax breaks, company relocations, function relocations, and offers support in the areas of financing, the exploitation of intellectual property rights and tax disputes.
He additionally focuses on international developments in the rapidly changing tax landscape and helps tax functions make their operating models sustainable from a tax perspective.
Benjamin possesses a wealth of expertise on the topic of Swiss and international corporate taxation with a special focus on R&D tax incentives, intellectual property rights planning, cross-border structuring and international tax dispute resolution.
He is a lecturer in a further education program for tax experts and occasionally gives talks on the subject. He also regularly pens expert articles and other publications on topics in the area of national and international corporate tax law.
Benjamin is a member of ExpertSuisse and of the Swiss branch of the International Fiscal Association (IFA).
