  • The current members Hélène Béguin, Helen Campbell and François Rouiller were re-elected
  • Hélène Béguin was also reappointed as Chairwoman of the Board

In accordance with its articles of association, KPMG Switzerland held new elections this year to re-elect its Board of Directors. The partners of KPMG Switzerland expressed their confidence once again in the current members Helen Campbell and François Rouiller as well as in Hélène Béguin, who will renew her role as Chairwoman for the next three years. Thomas Brotzer was elected as the fourth member.

Thomas Brotzer elected as new Board member

Thomas Brotzer succeeds Pascal Sprenger, who after three years has decided not to stand as a candidate in order to further develop and expand KPMG Switzerland’s Financial Services Consulting practice. “Thomas Brotzer’s professional background and extensive experience will strengthen the expertise of the Board of Directors. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Pascal Sprenger for his enormous commitment and contributions while serving on the Board,” says Chairwoman Hélène Béguin.

Thomas Brotzer leads our Financial Services Tax practice and since 1 October 2023 he is also KPMG’s Global Head of Insurance Tax. Thomas has 25 years of specialist experience serving some of the largest multinational insurers, asset managers and banks. Prior to joining KPMG in 2021, he held – among others – several international Big Four leadership roles. As a new member of the Board, he will work on further strengthening our multi-disciplinary model and living our values and outstanding culture.
