At KPMG Switzerland, we want you to thrive, grow and succeed. This includes a number of flexible work styles that enable you to balance your career with life outside of work, boost your wellbeing and support you to live the lives you want to live.
Hybrid working
Our hybrid working model enables you to move between the locations of office, home and client in a way that empowers you to deliver exceptional work and results while fostering your personal wellbeing. The model for each individual is determined by his / her role, work requirements and personal preference.
To support flexible work, we provide every employee with a laptop and contribute towards the cost of a new phone. Additionally, we cover the phone plan expenses so you can stay connected and work seamlessly from anywhere.
Working from anywhere
To help you thrive and meet your desire for flexibility around where you work, we provide you with the exciting opportunity to work remotely in a number of countries for up to 10 working days per calendar year. For example, if you wish to extend your stay before or after a holiday and work remotely you have the opportunity do so. Foreign nationals may work the same number of days from their home country.
Flex time
We want to empower you to use flexible work schedules so you can best manage your job and personal priorities and take a rest when you want to, all while growing your career. Developing in your career while being able to work part-time if needed is something we fully support at KPMG. That’s why, at any level of employment, it is crucial for us that you find the right balance between work and personal life, while still progressing toward your career goals.
This includes various flex time options such as taking additional holidays, working part-time even in higher-level roles, or the opportunity to work 100% in the busy season and use paid breaks or a lower workload e.g., 80% in between assignments where there is lower client demand.
Generous parental leave
We offer you generous parental leave with 18 weeks of maternity leave and 4 weeks of paternity leave to be taken up to one year after your child is born or adopted.
