Tran advises private and corporate clients regarding U.S. tax compliance, specializing in U.S. individual income tax, cross-border tax planning, international payroll, social security, and tax issues related to international deployment. Tran has also extensive experience assisting private individuals with U.S. tax amnesty program, expatriation compliance, retirement planning, gift and estate taxation.

      Before relocating to Switzerland in 2015, Tran has also worked in Canada where he started his professional career. Over his 17 years as a tax professional, he assisted many international companies and their employees with their U.S. tax compliance overseas. Throughout his career, Tran has helped develop a paperless process for two offices to improve work efficiency and reduce operational cost. In 2017, he also accepted a short-term assignment in Detroit (USA) to share his experience with his U.S. colleagues. As an expat himself, Tran understands personally the challenges faced by an employee relocating overseas for a new job opportunity.  

      Tran is a member of the Quebec Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) Order in Canada. He is also a U.S. certified Enrolled Agent (EA) with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in the U.S.A.
