Alison is a Partner in Management Consulting focused on value realization. She is also KPMG in Canada’s National Manufacturing Sector Leader. With over 25 years of experience leading large transformational initiatives across numerous industries, Alison has a well-established track record of successfully analyzing financials and data to identify opportunities to improve EBITDA; she makes a difference to organizations by helping them execute and deliver on savings and/or process improvement, to create value.
It's Alison’s cross-enterprise experience and her broad background working across numerous industries that allows her to make a difference by helping clients find solutions to their greatest challenges including labour shortages, financial pressures and finding money to fuel growth aspirations. She has deep experience in the development of efficient operating models, process improvement and synergy realization (revenue and cost savings); specifically through technology implementations, procurement savings, facility shut-down, consolidation of back-office functions, shared services, and organizational restructuring. Alison also has extensive experience that spans the M&A lifecycle, having advised clients on corporate carve-outs, Day 1 planning, TSA planning, post-merger integration, divestitures, IPOs, performance optimization and internal restructuring.
Utilizing technology and a data driven approach to analyze and identify opportunities, Alison can provide rapid feedback to clients and release cash to fuel new projects and growth. Alison and her team recently identified a potential 14% cost reduction, as well as a 20-40% EBITDA improvement opportunity across one client’s organization.
