Sydney Sweibel has over forty-eight years of experience in taxation and business law. In his practice, he has counselled clients in all matters related to personal and corporate taxation. He has extensive experience in matters of domestic and international taxation, voluntary disclosures, estate planning, corporate reorganizations, and planning for real estate transactions. Sydney also provides strategic guidance to clients regarding commercial transactions and shareholder issues.
Sydney has valuable experience in dispute resolution with both the federal and provincial taxation authorities and has earned a strong reputation as a skilled negotiator. He is known for his ability to craft practical and effective solutions to difficult taxation and business challenges.
Sydney has regularly presented on current developments in tax matters to members of the accounting and legal professions. He has also lectured on taxation at McGill University and Concordia University.
