Alaina Spec practices extensively in estate planning and estate administration services. For matters both simple and complex, Alaina provides comprehensive and thoughtful estate planning advice. Alaina’s attention to clients’ unique circumstances, including family structure, complicated assets, or business interests, allows her to prepare plans that reassure her clients, ensure their estate planning goals will be met, and their loved ones thoughtfully cared for.
The death of a loved one is an emotional time. Alaina attentively guides her clients through the legal issues that follow. She provides legal advice and services for all aspects of estate administration and for all parties to an administration, whether they be executors, estate trustees, or beneficiaries. Her services include preparing applications for probate, advising on estate accounting, assisting in distributions to beneficiaries, as well as more complex tax issues regarding the administration of trusts and estates.
Alaina is also an experienced corporate lawyer with an advanced background in tax. She applies her expertise to assist her corporate clients across a wide range of legal issues. With a special interest in complex corporate and mixed business groups, Alaina advises her clients on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, re-organizations, professional incorporations (e.g. medical), cost sharing associations and succession planning.
