Carol Rabbat is a member of KPMG’s Family Office, and also a Lawyer and Partner with KPMG Law.
She is highly experienced in domestic tax law, including personal, estate, and corporate income tax planning for individuals and owner-managed businesses, federal and provincial sales tax issues. She also assists taxpayers with cross-border planning as well as corporate/commercial law, including reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions.
Carol has played a key role in asset and share sales from the initial tax planning stage to documenting the finer details of the commercial transactions negotiated by the parties. She has also been instrumental in successfully restructuring corporate operations to achieve tax efficient results.
