Daniel’s practice focuses on tax litigation and dispute resolution. He advises and represents clients in income tax and GST audits, objections and appeals. He has appeared in the Tax Court of Canada and the Federal Court of Appeal. He also represents taxpayers in voluntary disclosures, penalty and interest relief applications and collections matters. His practice includes advising taxpayers on resource taxation and corporate tax planning for small and medium-sized businesses.
Before practicing law, Daniel clerked at the Tax Court of Canada. He is a frequent writer and speaker on taxation topics.
