An audit partner with KPMG in Victoria, Lenora has extensive experience providing audit services to private companies, not-for-profit and public sector organizations. She has assisted several organizations with assessing, selecting and converting to various accounting frameworks, including international, public sector and not-for-profit standards. She has provided advisory services relating to both technical accounting, internal audit and internal control.
Lenora leads KPMG’s Education Sector in British Columbia. In this role, she chairs quarterly meetings with BC Education audit teams, represents the education sector at monthly public sector meetings, attends BCASBO conferences and is the firm’s liaison with the Ministry Financial Reporting Branch.
Lenora is the chair of the Chartered Professional Accountants of BC Government Organizations Audit and Accounting Forum (GOAAF), where financial executives from across provincial government meet semi-annually to discuss and collaborate on current finance issues facing their organizations. She is KPMG’s representative on the Public Sector Technical Auditors Group, a group of auditors from National audit firms, which meets routinely to discuss technical complexities in the application of public sector accounting standards and issues to bring forward to the Public Sector Accounting Standards Board for review.
