Anoosha Lalani

Anoosha Lalani is a Senior Manager in KPMG’s Accounting Advisory practice in Toronto. Anoosha blends her technical accounting background with her sustainability expertise to assist organizations in advancing their sustainability reporting, and assurance. Previously, Anoosha served as an ISSB Technical Fellow at the IFRS Foundation, where she played a key role in advancing the implementation of IFRS S1 and S2.

With extensive experience across various geographies and sectors, including financial institutions, mining, and energy, Anoosha has conducted financial and impact materiality assessments, reviewed and developed sustainability disclosures, and created customized disclosure and operational roadmaps. She is well versed with the various sustainability standards and frameworks including the Canadian Sustainability Disclosure Standards (CSDS), European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) and Global Reporting Initiation (GRI). Her work addresses the growing expectations of stakeholders, including regulators, ensuring that organizations meet their sustainability ambitions effectively.
