As the Canadian Managing Partner of Quality and Risk Management, Nancy is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of quality and risk management across KPMG in Canada. This includes: developing and implementing strategies to effectively identify, manage, and mitigate risks; supporting the business in achieving our strategic priorities; and ensuring we maintain the highest standards for quality, ethics and integrity.
Nancy brings over 30 years of experience with KPMG to this role, having previously served as the Global Leader for Risk Services and the National Leader for Risk Services in Canada. In these roles, Nancy oversaw the strategic vision and priorities for our Forensics, Cyber, Technology and AI Risk, Financial Risk Management, and Governance, Risk and Compliance service lines. Nancy also served a two year term on KPMG’s Global Digital Steering Committee, where she contributed to shaping the firm’s global technology blueprint and investments, including initiatives related to generative AI. As a practicing professional, Nancy has served as an external assurance auditor, and over the past 20 years has led the provision of IPO readiness, SOX 404 advisory, enterprise risk management, governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), and internal control advisory services, focusing on global high growth and high tech clients across Canada as well as federal Crown corporations and agencies.
