As part of our Global Infrastructure Advisory Practice, Zyna mostly focuses her work in the planning, procurement and execution of infrastructure projects through various delivery models, including public-private partnerships. She has been involved in all aspects of infrastructure deals going from the initial business case up to the financial closing. She focuses on the procurement, contractual, conformity and financial aspects of infrastructure transactions for governments, with the objective of maximizing the transaction value and ensuring a flawless process. She has been involved in infrastructure projects in Québec, Canada and the US, both for the public and private sectors and accordingly is familiar with the major issues, key success factors and potential pitfalls of such transactions. Her infrastructure experience includes projects delivered in various procurement modes, including traditional, DB, and DBFMO at various stages of procurement whether at the feasibility, planning or execution stages. She has worked, with numerous public stakeholders, on major public infrastructure projects in various industries including major transportation (rail, bridges and highways), water, electric, health, and other social infrastructure. She typically acts as a financial advisor or independent advisor for business case development or due diligence, feasibility studies, risk analysis and workshops, financial and cost-benefits analyses and economic impact analysis.
