Sara Byrnell

Sara Byrnell is an Executive Director at KPMG Family Office where she specializes in philanthropic advisory. She provides clients with strategic advice and end-to-end guidance in their charitable giving, to achieve their goals and deliver greater impact. With over 18 years of experience in the charity and social impact sector, Sara is a passionate executive leader, dedicated to advocating for transformational societal impact and positive change. 

Sara's areas of expertise include individual and corporate philanthropy, volunteer management and strategy development. Sara is experienced in cultivating, negotiating, and stewarding complex, multi-million-dollar partnerships between social impact organizations and high-net-worth individuals, foundations, and corporations across Canada. 

Prior to joining KPMG, Sara held senior roles within the non-profit and charitable sectors, where she developed and managed organizational strategy for fundraising and philanthropic goals, and operating plans for high-net-worth major giving, annual giving, estate giving, corporate partnerships, and cause marketing.
