Jim is a seasoned partner in KPMG’s Global Metals & Mining Practice who brings clarity, insights, passion, and KPMG’s multi-disciplinary bench strength to our work with our clients. 

Jim has a proven track record of leading multi-discipline global audit teams that work effectively with Chief Financial Officers, Finance Teams, and Audit Committees. 

Formerly Senior Vice President Finance, Controller at Goldcorp, Jim was responsible for business planning, budgeting and forecasting; capital allocation discipline through the capital investment committee process; business performance reporting; financial and statutory reporting; and payroll.

As a partner in the KPMG Energy & Natural Resources Practice in Vancouver his current audit, tax, and advisory clients include Hecla Mining Company, Pan American Silver, Goldcorp, Equinox Gold, and Conuma Coal.
