Doris Bonora, KC, TEP is an experienced lawyer with a focus on estate planning and administration, litigation, and trusts, and brings a wealth of expertise to her role. She routinely crafts bespoke estate plans that align with her clients' unique needs, often involving the incorporation and reorganization of companies. 

Doris is a trusted advisor to a diverse range of clients, including high net worth individuals, family offices, banks, and trust companies. She provides guidance on a variety of matters, such as personal and business succession planning, philanthropy, and trust and estate planning. 

Her extensive practice has seen her represent a broad spectrum of clients, from individuals to multimillion-dollar trusts, First Nation trusts, and Metis Settlements. With over three decades of experience in the field, Doris has made appearances at all levels of the court in Alberta, where she has litigated a wide array of estate issues.

Doris is heavily involved in pro bono work. She provides legal advice to families navigating a loved one’s Alzheimer journey. She supports low-income elders who are victims of financial abuse. Additionally, she aids low-income individuals in estate planning through Capital Care.

She’s been recognized with awards that highlight her dedication to the highest quality of service for her clients - from her “Wealth Management Lawyer of the Year for the Americas” award, to her recognition in “WHO’s Who lawyers of Canada” and rankings in Canadian Legal Lexpert and Chambers.
