Ruth leads our Learning, Talent and Culture practice and has over 18 years’ experience leading complex organisational transformation programmes. Through the application of behavioural science techniques, she enables our clients to maximise the performance of their people. Typically clients are in a highly pressurised environment in a state of flux. They need someone who really understands how to transform the skills and behaviours of their people to drive operational improvement and long lasting change. Ruth’s approach is data driven and focused on demonstrating a measurable difference in an organisation’s productivity.
Ruth has a particular interest in organisational learning and how businesses upskill their people so they are intrinsically motivated to apply skills and behaviours in line with the business imperative. The huge strategic changes organisations are making in response to the technology revolution has elevated the role of learning. Ruth supports our clients to roll out global learning academies as well as targeted interventions to kick start a step change in the skills agenda. Part of her work is supporting multi-national organisations to understand why they are not getting the outcomes they expect from their learning programmes. Ruth believes that for any significant skills or behavioural change, learning needs to be integrated throughout an organisation's strategy and supported by all related people processes, including the talent strategy, performance management, reward and recognition, succession planning, workforce planning and recruitment.
Key clients Ruth has worked extensively with include multiple oil & gas, energy and mining FTSE 100 organisations, FTSE 100 manufacturing co.s, global banks, multinational pharmaceutical and consumer goods co.s and UK Government
