Matthew is a Partner, Head of International Tax – Corporates, in our international tax group. He is a qualified solicitor, and advises large corporate groups on international tax matters, transfer pricing and dispute resolution.

Matthew has advised groups across a wide range of industries, including the financial services, manufacturing, digital, life sciences, TMT and energy sectors. His clients include both UK and overseas parented groups, and he has significant experience in acting for US-based multinationals, having previously been a Partner at a Chicago-based law firm.

Matthew’s practice covers the full range of advisory tax matters in relation to cross-border structuring, intellectual property, financing, migrations, global supply chains, and transfer pricing. Matthew also represents clients in tax controversy matters, negotiates settlements with the UK tax authorities, and acts for clients in transfer pricing competent authority proceedings.

Matthew serves on the Tax Policy Committees of the Business and Industry Advisory Committee to the OECD, the International Chamber of Commerce, and the US Council for International Business.
