Jan-Hendrik is leading ESG Reporting Advisory in EMA and at a global level. He is also responsible for Risk and Compliance services at KPMG Germany, covering all services regarding Corporate Governance, ESG Reporting Advisory & Assurance and Energy. He has years of experience and expertise in setting up appropriate Management Systems and Sustainability/Non-Financial reporting structures in accordance to Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) and EU-Taxonomy, as well as Social Supply Chain Acts. During the last years, he has focused himself on the establishment and the audit of Corporate Governance and non-financial reporting structures. He is a specialist for all subjects regarding Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Controls System, Compliance Management System and Internal Audit.

  • Jan Hendrik focuses on topics such as, advising on all aspects of corporate governance in a capital market-oriented environment, including current issues relating to ESG reporting. He is focusing on reporting frameworks (e.g. TCFD, GRI) and is involved in international projects regarding Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), EU-Taxonomy, Supply Chain Compliance and non-financial governance structures.
  • Furthermore, as managing director he is specialized in auditing and certifying management systems according to ISO standards within KPMG Cert GmbH
  • He is specialized in setting up and auditing corporate governance structures such as risk management, internal control systems, compliance management systems and internal auditing for more than 10 years.
  • He works with multinational corporate clients in external Monitorships to strengthen the Compliance function as well as other professional and efficient Corporate Governance structures.
  • In addition Jan Hendrik also has an extensive expertise in all non-financial reporting issues, in particular setting up reporting and governance structures in accordance to the new Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) including EU taxonomy (Green and Social).
