There are close to 350+ hackers from the team who traveled to Bengaluru for three days of learning, fun and networking. Additionally, there were also foreign member firm delegates from Bahrain, Kuwait, Sri Lanka and UAE who joined the team for the training sessions. The event was a learning opportunity across emerging trends in the sector, with internal speakers and external speakers from some of our reputed clients.
There were booths set up to experience the Metaverse, practice lock picking and KPMG Digital Signals Insights Platform.

Cyber awareness month October-November 2022
The Cyber Day initiative is a KPMG Global Corporate Citizenship programme aimed at educating youngsters on the importance of cyber security and internet risk. Our endeavour is to have school children take part in learning sessions focused on topics like safeguarding oneself online, using social media safely, dealing with cyberbullying, gaming safely, etc.
Over the past years, this programme has been immensely successful and this year, we have taken a step ahead to enhance the outreach by targeting the student segments in government and NGO-aided schools as well. This year we covered more than 60000 students conducting over 330 sessions in 15 cities in 7 regional languages other than English. Out of this overall number, 67 per cent of students belonged to the government and NGO-aided cadre as we targeted.
Given below are a few glimpses of sessions done so far this year.
