Cdr Gautam Nanda is an Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) specialist who retired after completing 21 years of active service in the Indian Navy. During his service, he has been a Warfare Officer on frontline warships and was Captain of INS Akshay, ASW Corvette. He is an alumina of Naval Academy where he was awarded the President Bronze medal and Defence Services Staff College (DSSC) where he completed his Maters in Defence Studies with distinction.
Post retirement for the last 11 years he has been working with leading consulting firms in the defence sector. He has been involved in defence production, homeland security, strategic consulting including business plan and strategy development, procurement, offsets, JV with private sector and PSU, collaboration, product, and process information. Gautam is a strategist with experience in delivering high impact insight, in depth research, astute advice, operations entailing planning, budgeting and resource deployment.
