Nilachal joined KPMG in India in 2014 and in his role as head of health, human and social services he has led large-scale technical assistance to central and state government programmes in water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), women and child development, financial inclusion, rural development, public health, social housing and livelihoods. Prior to joining the firm, he was at Accenture in India, where he was driving the Skill and Intelligent Cites Portfolio at the national and state levels.
He is a regular speaker on sectoral/policy matters in media and industry forums. Moreover, Nilachal has conceptualised and authored thought-leadership publications on water, sanitation, rural transformation in India, impact of impact investments and the transformation of the anganwadi system etc.
