With over 30 years of experience as a tax professional, Rajeev has handled a wide range of assignments across direct and indirect tax matters along with complex cross border transactions. Over these years, India has witnessed several new taxes and replacement of the nation’s entire taxing system. Rajeev has highly engaged with clients and different regulators in transitioning these regulations smoothly.

Rajeev has extensively worked with multinational and large domestic companies in setting up or rationalising business models and nationwide distribution structures. This includes cross border trade flows and setting up operations in India across a wide range of sectors. Rajeev has particularly deep experience with travel & hospitality sector, auto sector and e-commerce business.

He has been involved in various assignments for establishing greenfield projects in India and has aided in finalising business plans. He has given assistance for negotiation of investment incentives with the State and Central government agencies for large and mega projects.

Rajeev has consistently guided his clients in formulating methodologies to defend high-pitched tax litigation and has also worked closely with the central government and various other state government agencies on policy level discussions across different sectors and regulations.
