On 3 June 2024, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting ('MIB') has issued a notification in compliance with an order of the Supreme Court of India stating that all advertisers/advertising agencies are required to submit a self-declaration certificate before publishing/broadcasting any advertisements starting 18 June 2024.
