Our targets
We are committed to achieving net zero emissions by 2050. We have set both near- and long-term science-based targets (SBTs), and these are validated by the Science Based Target initiative (SBTi) to a 1.5°C temperature pathway. These targets required bold commitments around our energy usage, our supply chain and how our people travel.
We are also committed to becoming a zero waste business by eliminating all avoidable waste from our operations by 2030.

Client engagement
KPMG continues to demonstrate its commitment to climate leadership and sustainable business transformation through a range of impactful initiatives. During London Climate Action Week, KPMG hosted a vibrant programme at Reset Connect, bringing together industry experts, keynote speakers, and colleagues to explore practical solutions for embedding sustainability into financial valuations, accelerating net zero energy networks, and empowering organisations to embrace sustainable behaviours.
KPMG was also actively involved in COP30, leading several events and discussions focused on the key climate and nature issues facing the public and private sectors today. KPMG remains dedicated to driving the conversation forward, helping clients navigate the complexities of the energy transition, embed climate risk into core strategy, and seize opportunities for sustainable growth.
School engagement
The net zero economy is going to bring about an unprecedented demand for ‘green skills.’ We’re working with schools in areas of low social mobility to build students’ ‘sustainability mindset’ and help prepare and excite them for the changing world of work.
