KPMG in India brings a strategic lens to low-code transformation – blending rapid delivery with enterprise-grade scalability, AI integration, and secure-by-design principles to help clients innovate at speed and scale with confidence. Our approach emphasises people-first design and long-term adaptability, that digital transformations are not only rapidly developed, but are also trusted, scalable, and sustainable.
Digital transformation at scale with low-code
In today’s fast-paced digital landscape, organisations must adapt quickly to changing market demands. Low-code development platforms empower businesses to transform ideas into applications swiftly, facilitating the creation of secure and scalable solutions. By minimising manual coding, these platforms accelerate deployment timelines, reduce costs, and enable organisations to respond promptly to evolving business needs.
Key pillars of low-code development
Visual development
Build applications using intuitive visual modelling with minimal hand holding required
Cloud-native platform
Deploy and scale applications seamlessly across hybrid and multi-cloud
Enterprise security
Built-in security features including encryption, authentication and compliance
Multi-channel delivery

How can KPMG in India help
Front-office modernisation
Core system re-platforming
Move painlessly from a product or process-centric system to one that puts your customers’ needs at the heart of the transformation
For IT teams, leave behind the monolithic, hard to maintain systems and embrace flexible modern architectures such as micro-services
Enhancing legacy platforms
Fortunately, it is possible to transform legacy applications by placing an API management layer on top of an existing core system, which allows organisations to connect and consolidate disparate systems into one single view or integrate them with analytics or other third-party solutions
Advance analytics enablement
Using low code and no code platforms as accelerants, build custom analytics dashboards, or expose your data for consumption by dedicated BI and analytics tools using low code as an API layer
Front-office modernisation
Build seamless digital experiences for your customers across web, mobile and tablets, providing them with a true customer-centric omnichannel experience. Integrate with AI, chatbots and other cutting-edge solutions to level up your customer experience

Case studies
- Digital fortification: Redefining governance with low-code innovation
- Unifying shopfloors: Low-code enablement for plant-wide consistency
- Next-gen ERP: Reimagining public service delivery for a Singapore real-estate giant
- One view, total control: A unified compliance portal for oversight @ scale
A global energy and utilities client’s security and compliance processes were fragmented, heavily reliant on manual tracking through spreadsheets, and prone to inefficiencies, duplication, and human error. These legacy methods created a lack of transparency and made it challenging to maintain traceability across the Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) and the broader governance framework.
Using low-code, KPMG in India developed a scalable cybersecurity management tool built using outsystems, to unify and automate the SDL process. Key capabilities included dynamic risk-based SDL scoping, automated Go/No-Go workflows with preconditions, visual dashboards to track security posture, and embedded decisioning and documentation processes. By digitalizing all the SDL components across the process, the client was able to significantly improve governance and operational efficiency across engagements.
Potential benefits
A multinational manufacturing client struggled with deploying SMART tools effectively across global plants due to inconsistent on-ground practices and the absence of standardised data capture. Each manufacturing site followed its own approach, creating misalignment between digital strategy and factory execution. This lack of harmonisation hampered scalability and created challenges in asset tracking and operational analysis.
KPMG in India accelerated deployment of 40+ digital tools across multiple geographies; all by leveraging outsystems, a low-code platform, which could integrate with majority of the clients’ varied app landscape. A key success factor was the creation of a unified Data Library, which defined the structure and attributes for data capture across all plants. This allowed for better governance, standardisation, and seamless rollout, enabling the client to scale their manufacturing
Potential benefits
To modernise its service delivery and streamline interactions with internal and external stakeholders, a Singapore real-estate client envisioned a Next-Gen Real Estate Management System. The existing processes - such as lease allocation, tenancy renewal, price discovery, and land inspection - were fragmented and not user-friendly. There was a pressing need to unify these through a smart digital system that could enhance public service efficiency and transparency.
Leveraging low-code, KPMG in India delivered a customised ERP that promoted rapid development via reusable components. It integrated seamlessly with external systems like GSID, JMap, and secure service portals, while ensuring a responsive, performance-optimised user experience. The result? A modular, scalable ERP system that streamlined over a dozen real estate processes and supported dynamic land and area selection by stakeholders.
Potential benefits
A major Germany-based Life Sciences client required a centralised compliance platform to oversee cybersecurity and privacy posture across global operations, ensuring adherence to evolving policy requirements. Managing security-related updates, certifications, and component changes across hundreds of enterprise apps had become overwhelming.’ Leadership also lacked a consolidated view of organisational risk, impeding decision-making.’
KPMG in India built a unified ‘One Experience’ compliance portal using low-code. With ready-to-use integration with multiple third-party APIs with respect of access security, and more, the portal included automated action triggers, email reminders, and a 360-degree security dashboard - a single source of truth for app-level compliance. This not only simplified oversight and ensured timely certifications; but also empowered leadership with actionable insights into security status across the enterprise.
