Prasad Kulkarni

Overall 34+ years experience of which last 28 years with KPMG in India

Prasad is the Functional Quality and Risk Management Partner (FRMP) for Advisory and G&PS.  He is responsible for implementation of Risk and Quality polices of the firm across Advisory and has taken several initiatives to strengthen this area since he took over this role four years back

Prior to his current role, he set up and led the Enterprise Applications (or ERP Advisory) solution cluster at KPMG. The engagements he has worked on span across IT Strategy, Business Process Reengineering, Deployment of Enterprise Application Solutions such as Oracle/SAP/Microsoft, Review of ERP controls and integration, and Programme Management. 

He was part of the team that started SAP practice in India and later he also set up the Oracle implementation practices and more recently the Microsoft Dynamics practice.  Over the last couple of decades Prasad has led and delivered several ERP led transformation projects

Prasad managed implementation of Practice Management System for the Indian Firm and has extensive experience of managing Operations across multiple practices of Advisory 

Before setting up the ERP practice, Prasad underwent extensive training in SAP R/3 conducted by SAP and is also a certified SAP consultant.

He has also worked on several IT Strategy, IT Assessment, and ERP Selection projects and has assisted KPMG Global teams in development of a few methodologies around Enterprise Applications.

Prior to joining KPMG, Prasad worked with A F Ferguson & Co. in their Management Consulting Division. He has an Engineering degree from the University of Pune and an MBA from Bombay University.
