Amit Bhargava

Amit has a diverse set of experience across asset intensive industries, including metals, chemicals, petrochemicals, upstream oil and gas, and pharmaceuticals. He is the Lead Account Partner for a large metals and mining player, lead metals and mining industry group.

Most recently, Amit is working with a large conglomerate in driving growth and diversification (into Hi tech electronics) while leveraging the business and policy environment resulting from the government’s strategic focus around ‘Make in India’. He has also recently worked driving EBITDA expansion through AI / ML technologies and establishing circular initiatives leveraging conventional and emerging technologies.

Before his tenure with KPMG in India, Amit has earlier worked with Accenture and A.T. Kearney. He has also been the head of strategy for a large domestic pharmaceutical major. Amit started his career with a leading petrochemical major and was managing operations for select plants.  

Amit received his Post Graduate Degree in Business Management from the Indian Institute of Management Bengaluru and holds a BTech degree in Chemical Engineering from Harcourt Butler Technological Institute, Kanpur.
