Vijay is the Chief Operating Officer – Consulting for KPMG in India and also heads the Life Sciences sector for KPMG in India.
With over 25 years of experience in pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, IT/ITeS, food and beverage, Vijay has successfully led various advisory engagements. Vijay specialises in business risk assessments, ethics and compliance, corporate governance, etc. In his vast assurance and consulting experience, Vijay has led several complex enterprise risk management framework assessments and implementation projects for large business houses, and also led several SoX implementation projects and COSO 2013 framework assessments.
Vijay’s experience also spans to include quality assurance reviews entailing executive and board interviews, IIA Standards gap analysis; peer benchmarking survey, 360° feedback forums, managing financial statements and operational risk assessment activities, including developing and executing questionnaires and analysing identified risks. Vijay is also the Global lead Partner for one of the large pharma company and one of the large IT/ ITES companies in India.
