Paul leads the Insurance Risk and Actuarial Services practice globally.

He joined KPMG China in 2016 to lead the Insurance Risk and Actuarial Services practice in ASPAC and has been responsible for leading a number of major client assignments spanning IFRS 17 transformation, life insurance transactions and our largest insurance audit in the region.

Since 2016, the actuarial team in Asia Pacific has grown significantly, with over 250 professionals now working for insurers and reinsurers across the region.

Prior to joining KPMG,  Paul was a managing director with Willis Towers Watson’s life insurance consulting business in Asia with responsibility for business development and delivery of client services across the region. While with Willis Towers Watson, Paul was involved in a number of major life insurance transactions, including the IPO of AIA and divestiture of ING Group’s Asian life insurance entities.
