Robin Walduck leads KPMG’s International Tax & Treasury team in the United Kingdom, where his primary role is the provision of international tax and treasury advice to large corporate and financial institutions. Robin is also a member of KPMG’s global BEPS steering group, providing clients with insight into the latest developments in relation to the OECD’s BEPS Action Plan. Robin has 18 years of international tax experience, seven of which were in investment banking in London and Hong Kong. Robin re-joined KPMG in 2007, having worked in KPMG’s tax practice for three years prior to his period in investment banking. Robin also leads the U.K. firm’s efforts in relation to the inbound investment market from a tax point of view, assisting clients who wish to expand their operations in the United Kingdom, whether by way of establishing new operations or international holding/financing companies, taking advantage of the UK’s incentives in relation to R&D, or relocating their headquarters to the United Kingdom. Robin’s recent projects have included global legal entity rationalizations, group restructuring projects, intra-group cross-border financings, and the creation of international holding companies and regional treasury operations. Robin holds qualifications with both the Association of Taxation Technicians and the Chartered Institute of Taxation and earned a Bachelor of Science degree with honors.
