Ija Ramirez

With a passion for client service and digitalization, and strong experience in the transformation of processes and operating models, Ija is the Head of Clients & Markets, Global Tax & Legal, at KPMG International. Here she focuses on building trust and accelerating growth through brand-defining work with priority accounts and markets, specifically within the tax and legal space. Ija is strongly committed to diversity and equality – not only in her leadership roles but also in her private life she strives to create an environment where everyone feels respected and valued.

Ija joined the KPMG organization in 2019, where she was brought on to lead the GMS practice for KPMG in Germany. She has over 15 years of consulting expertise, with long-standing experience in large projects and consulting for global companies on processes and compliance. Ija also supports companies in diversified industries as they look to reorganize and transform, and advises on large compliance and remediation projects in different business sectors, with a special focus on innovation and technology.
