Vicky is a Partner with the energy team and has worked internationally for over 15 years. She also leads the UK nuclear practice having worked in the sector as one of the leading advisers. Key areas of interest:

  • Changing energy market and convergence of sectors
  • New nuclear power development – entry, acquisition, financing models and business planning
  • Smart meters – business models and future development opportunities

Vicky has a broad client base clients from strategic, infrastructure funds and private equity houses. Selected examples include

  • Acted as financial and due diligence advisor to China General Nuclear Power Corporation on their partnership with EDF for the UK nuclear market committing over £10bn of capital to the UK
  • Advised on the sale of the Green investment Bank
  • Advised British Gas on their Smart meter programme
  • Multiple engagements providing strategic advice on investment options for existing players as well as new entrants to the power and utilities market including consideration of low carbon and renewable investment opportunities
