Mathias joined KPMG in 2005. In 2007 he started to develop ‘Public Sector’ as a practice group within KPMG Law. In 2009 he was promoted to partner. Today, Public Sector is one of the biggest practice groups in Germany with currently about 50 legal experts, specialized in legal advice for public authorities, institutions and enterprises. Besides his legal activities Mathias also heads the segment ‘Public Sector’ of KPMG Germany. In 2016, Mathias became Managing Director of KPMG Law in Germany.
