Alain is the Lead Partner of KPMG LLP’s Infrastructure Advisory practice in Montreal. He has 30 years of consulting experience in working with governments, crown corporations, infrastructure developers, owners, operators and agencies, institutional investors, venture capital firms, financial institutions, universities as well as private and public companies. He regularly acts as strategic, financial and commercial advisor in the planning and procurement phases of major infrastructure projects delivered through various forms of public-private partnerships, design-build and traditional delivery modes. He also acts as financial advisor and/or expert in the restructuring, refinancing and sale of assets, the development and negotiation of joint ventures, the performance of viability and feasibility studies and the elaboration of strategic and business plans. Alain's vast experience has endowed him with outstanding knowledge and skills in project management, multi-disciplinary and international team management, drawing up documents and reports to meet the highest public sector standards and communicating both with his project team members and with ministerial and government authorities.
